Let's get right into it.

 

GHOSTS IN SCRIPTURES

The word ghost appears 108 times In the King James Version of the Bible. Of these, the word is never used in the sense of the disembodied spirit of someone who has died. It is used in only two ways. First, it is used in the phrase “to give up the ghost,” meaning “to die.” Second, it occurs as the title, “the Holy Ghost,” the third person of the Godhead or Trinity. The Bible refers to the spirits of the dead as “familiar spirits,” as in intimate association, personal, or one well acquainted , Leviticus 19:31, Deuteronomy 18:11; 2 Kings 21:6; Isaiah 8:19, etc.) and warns against having anything to do with them.

 

Do you believe a house can be haunted?

According to the scriptures, that is impossible -

Job 7:9-10, “As the cloud disappears and vanishes away, so he who goes down to the grave does not come up. He shall never return to his house, Nor shall his place know him anymore."

Is that clear enough?

 

 

Do the dead come back to communicate with the living?

Ecclesiastes 9:5-6,  “For the living know that they will die; But the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward, For the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, their hatred, and their envy have now perished; nevermore will they have a share in anything done under the sun.”

 

What if a person dies with unfinished business? This is very often thought to be the cause of hauntings. Believe it or not, the Bible adresses this.

Psalm 146:4,  "When his breath departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish.”

 

Many people believe we become angels when we die, however, angels have existed before humans were created.

Psalm 8:4-5, “What is man that You [Lord] are mindful of him, and the son of man, that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor.”

 

So what does God say about those of us who try to contact the dead? And how do demonic spirits manage to convince so many of us that we do communicate with the dead?

 

LEV9:31

- "‘Give no regard to mediums and familiar spirits; do not seek after them, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God."

 

So God warns us not even regard any medium, and further on in this scripture God warns against psycics, witches and anyone who claims to speak to the dead.

There's a very good reason for this as God has shown us - these are not ghosts...they are evil demonic spirits trying to get you to lose your eternal salvation by denying the Bible,and disobeying God!

 

These "spirits" are not our friends! The Bible warns us many, many times that the devil and his demons come to devour and destroy! Destroy who? Well he can't destroy God, so who's left? Ya, me and you!

Is contacting the "dead" worth losing your eternal soul?  Hey if I'm wrong then nothing lost, but if I;m right, then what? Ask yourself if it;s really wirth it to go see a medium or psycic. Ya, it's all in good fun right? WRONG! God has warned us, so now if we don't believe Him, or if we make excusesand say, "well the Bible is full of contradictions, and the Bible was written by men, so they got it wrong" Really? Who  told you that? Ask whoever told you that to back up his mouth with facts. What are these so called contradictions? Where has the Bible EVER been wrong for example as far as archaeoligical digs go? Ask any archaeoogist, even those who do nobelieve in God, and they will all tell you the same thing...the Bible is totally acurate as far as archaeology goes.

WOW! Just think bout that...let it sink in for a moment...NEVER BEEN WRONG NOT EVEN ONCE! You know in your heart that no human being could have written that...humans screw up, hey, we're human right?

 

In a court of law, if a witness has been truthful on twenty things which can be verified independantly, then the court will tend to trust that wittness on things which canot be coroborrated. So, when we see how accurate the Bible is on those things which cn be verified, then we have to be consistant and take things which cannot be coroborrated as truth...unless we find otherwise, which hasn't been the case.

 

Think of all the atheists who have been trying for two thousand plus yeasr to debunk the Bible...all the really smart people, professors and lawyers who wish for noing else other than to debunk the Bible. Well? How many have been successful? These are the best, the brightest so surely one of the thousands and thousands must have been smart enough to debunk the Bible right? WRONG! Just think about that!

 

Of all our greatest works of history, show me any example of a historical person, or event which is exact in all details even the minute...well? Ya, that's right, you can't find one because you can read ten books on Napolian and you will read ten different versions of "history" Part of it is because we simply don't know all the detils and so scholars are forced to surmize, and you'll never get concensus that way. Part of it is that we keep digging up new information which changes the way we once believed things to have played out, and so we see many "revised" editions. Not so for the Bible...except for revisions from one language to another....OK I digress. But I'm establishing the accuracy and reliability of the Bible, so that when we read about demonic spirits presenting as "ghosts" Familiar spirits, then we can trust that is correct.

 

 

What are demons? OK this is complicated, but I'm here to be informative and truthful, so I'll run t by as quickly and thoroughly as I can.

Many Christians have no idea that the Bible describes fallen angels coming to earth at a time when the population was begining to really grow.

 

Genesis 6"1 - "Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them,"

 

Gen 6:2 - "that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose."

The "sons of God" were angels. They disobeyed God and left Heaven to marry human women!

 

Gen 6:4 - "There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown."

 

OK this is incredible, but God says it happened so it happened!

The hybrid children - half human half angel grew up to become "giants" believe it or not, there have been loads of huge human bones unearthed as far back as the early twenties, as old newspaper clippings reveal, and they were quickly grabbed up by meuseums and promptly hidden in back rooms! If you do some searches you will find maazing proof. Of course, just like everything on the web, some of it is not reliable. I'll make a page just for this subject soon.

 

OK, so what's gong on here? Let's read on..

 

Gen 6:5 - "Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually."

 

Gen 6:6 - "And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart."

 

So, God had a plan of redemption for mankind which involved His Son becoming flesh, and dying for our sins...therefore, the great imposter, must have a plan also! satan, knowing the Lord would come into the world through the bloodline of King David, attempted to poison that bloodline by inserting renegade angelic seed to the mix! So God becomes very angry at the way things were going. Men became rebellious and constntly thought of evil because the bloodline was corrupted. So, God deides to wipe everyone out and start over again!

That's why He told Noah to build an ark!

 

Gen 6:7 - "So the LORD said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.”

 

Gen 6:8 - "But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD"

Gen 6:11 - "The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence."

Gen 6:12 - "So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth"

Gen 6:13 - "And God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth."

Gen 6:14 - "“Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch."

 

So there it is! satan infected the bloodline, and God wiped it out!

 

OK now the scriptures mentioned.........There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown."..

 

What does God mean by "and also afterward"? There were giants prior to the flood, and satan managed to infect the bloodline again after the flood! However the second time he didn't manage to infect the King David bloodline, we know this because Jesus came.

 

Just a wee side bar here...How many have heard about so called "aliens" abducting people? Have you lisoned to  to the accounts of these abductees? They have specific disturbing things in common  -  now remember these are people from all over the planet, they all tell horrifying stories of being shown a hybrid nursery of sorts. They discribe lots of deformed babies that look like part human and part grey alien! We've all seen pictures of these "grey aliens" They have huge egg shaped heads and huge black eyes. They are small, under four feet, and they have long skinny arms and legs. The have no noses and a slit for a mouth.

OK, so these abductees - the women - describe the same things, these hybrid babies...sound familliar?

 

These "aliens" are not friendly space travellers in some huge intergalactical feration like the U.S.S. Enterprise!

These are demons up to the same tricks, trying to mess with hybridation so they can walk among us unnoticed!

There's a scripture in the book of Daniel, and it describes the last days, where ...well, here it is just read it for yourself..

 

Daniel 2:43 - "As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay."

Wow! So they attempt to interbreed agair some reason, it doesn't adhere!

 

So when Adam and Eve were cursed and kicked out of the garden, they lost their eternal bodies and found themselves for the first time having to work for food, and their bodies were slowly decaying and one day they would die, just as God had warned them.

 Back then, the DNA was almost immculate, and so they could live hundreds of years. As we read the old testament we see the ages of men gradually going down and down until we reach where we are tody. Today we live an average of 80 years. Why? because the DNA has been slowly degrading over the years. That's how we suddenly discover new diseases which we never had to fear is breaking down and we have become more and more vulnerable to diseases.

 

 

OK, back to ghosts! Whew! A tangent you say?

 

So here's what the Bible has to say about familiar spirits, mediums etc...

 

Lev 9:31 - "‘Give no regard to mediums and familiar spirits; do not seek after them, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God"

 

Proof that there are evil spts in the world?

Rev 12:9 - "So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."

 

Ghosts are real, but they are not angels from God or our dead loved ones. They are fallen angels trying to deceive us.

 

Ephesians 6:11-12,  "Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

 

2 Corinthians 11:14-15,  "And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve."

 

OK nso there it is. Next time someone tells you the Bible doesn't say ghosts are actually deceiic spirits, give them my address!
